"Oh Happy Days..... !!"

I try to stop every day.....

Next time.

Next time what I'd do is look at

the earth before saying anything. I'd stop
just before going into a house
and be an emperor for a minute
and listen better to the wind
or to the air being still.

When anyone talked to me, whether
blame or praise or just passing time,
I'd watch the face, how the mouth
has to work, and see any strain, any
sign of what lifted the voice.

And for all, I'd know more -- the earth
bracing itself and soaring, the air
finding every leaf and feather over
forest and water, and for every person
the body glowing inside the clothes
like a light.

Tax time around the corner

April 15th is right around the corner....

The old.....

The New!!   Plastic covers should last another 30 years.....

.... so to all who need help for next year.  This works great.  Fits in the file cabinet and holds all those pesky register receipts that have a way of getting lost over the year.

Can't believe that the time is flying by so fast!!!  It just seems that it was last week that I posted anything and a month plus has gone by.  But ..... we have been busy and distracted to say the least. 
We have gotten a lot of things done.  Most of the things with Mary's affairs are taken care of.  There are a couple of items that are still in limbo but are getting worked on.  It is a shame that almost every thing had to be snail mailed and have been.  Those are done. 
Tom is going to start 'cardiac rehab' soon.  We will see how that goes.  Starting out slow and moving on from there.  Now, if the weather would just get a little warmer and sunnier!  It would help a lot.
I will try to get on the road to doing all the things that have been on the side.  Nothing is doa yet....just really tired.  By the way.....
Am I the only one that is really tired of this winter??!!
